**A letter of complaint about a spoilt / spoiled holiday(4th form/unit1)**

Dear Sir/ Madam:

I am writing to complain about my spoilt / spoiled holiday. I read your advertisement about Cuba holidays three weeks ago and got urged to spend the memorable moments you were talking about. So, I went on that holiday organized by Tour Operator thrilled at the prospect of spending the week of my dreams. But once there, all my hopes soon dashed away. In fact, nothing of what I found was up to my expectations. Let's begin with the hotel. My room was so narrow that I could barely breathe, there were neither windows nor a balcony. I felt trapped like a mouse in a cage. Besides I felt as thoughAfficher la suite it was rainingAfficher la suite inside, but the ceiling was actually decorated with a couple of holes and water was dripping everywhere. In the corner, a huge number of bugs having a collective walk reminded me of your advertisement in which you said: "the vibrant city of Havana", my room was in fact vibrating. And what added insult to injury was the reaction of the staff. You said they were gentle and helpful. Well, they weren't: they were rather careless and even unkind, one of them dared shout at me.
The other thing that shocked me was the formerly described as luscious food. I was expecting something unusual and typical because of the new culture but what I got made me wonder whether it could at all be called food. You pretended also that I would have a beach stray within a two-minute walk, but I had to walk for more than one hour to reach the beach. Briefly, I have undoubtedly spent, thanks to your company, the worst holiday in my life and I have never been so disappointed and dissatisfied.
I contacted your representatives here but none of them had the will to give any kind of assistance. All turned deaf ears to me. That's why I am earnestly asking for an immediate compensation for all the inconvenience you caused me.
